Bell Let’s Talk Day 2026
Bell Let’s Talk is a year-round initiative dedicated to inspiring Canadians to take action for better mental health. This year, the focus is on the importance of “Taking a Moment”, a reminder that small, intentional pauses can make a big difference in our well-being and in supporting others.
Mental health challenges affect people of all ages and walks of life. Stress, anxiety, and depression continue to rise, and many Canadians still face barriers to accessing care. Suicide is the second leading cause of death among young Canadians, accounting for almost 25% of all deaths at ages 15 to 24.1 Taking a moment to reflect, connect, and reach out can help break down stigma and create a culture of openness. Whether it’s checking in with yourself, starting a conversation with a friend, or participating in community events, every action counts.
Thanks to initiatives like Bell Let’s Talk, progress is being made. Since 2010, more than 6.95 million Canadians have accessed mental health programs funded through Bell’s contributions, which now total $194 million.2 These efforts support research, education, and community-based programs across the country, helping to transform lives and build stronger support systems.
