Welcome Home & Congratulations to Team Canada from Everyone at Sutton Special Risk!

Sunday’s gold medal triumph for our men’s hockey team was the ultimate finish to what has been yet another fantastic Winter Games for Canada. Team Canada sent 220 athletes to compete at Sochi 2014, and will arrive home with 25 medals, including 10 gold, our highest number yet when the Games have not been on our own snow and ice.

Greg Sutton, President of Sutton Special Risk, had this to say when speaking about Sochi 2014:

"We heartily congratulate all Team Canada athletes and their families, friends, coaches, and clubs that have supported these talented Olympians along the way. The Olympic Games are the pinnacle of amateur sports. In 2007 we enhanced our offerings to sports insurance by providing coverage for amateur athletes playing the same sports as their professional heroes. We’re fully committed to helping protect all sports in Canada, from grass roots to professional, while ensuring effective risk management and safety for all participants."

The hope is that adults and children of all abilities will continue to get involved in sports and activity, and the momentum of the success at the Winter Games will flow into preparations for the Pan American Games being held in Toronto next summer. Sutton Special Risk looks forward to supporting our Canadian athletes and organizations for years to come.
